Mocha Protein Oat Bake

There's nothing I love more than chocolate for breakfast... and this one comes guilt free, vegan and refined sugar free. This is a lovely sin free way to make chocolatey oats in the morning. It does take a little longer to make than your normal bowl of porridge though as it needs to bake for 20 mins in the oven. (It's worth the wait!)


1 Tsp Cocoa powder 1 Tsp Chia Seeds

1 Tbsp Protein powder

1/2 Tsp instant coffee

45g Oats

10g Dark chocolate melted (85%)

200ml Coconut milk


  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl

  2. Stir in the melted chocolate

  3. Pour in the milk

  4. Put mix into an oven proof dish

  5. Set oven to 180 and cook for 20 mins

  6. To serve sprinkle with coffee granules and a square of chocolate

If you do have a sweeter tooth and need a sugar fix you could chop up some dates/banana and add them in before baking or you could just add sugar or maple syrup according to your taste!
